Who we are
Abacus and Sage Accounting LLC is a computer systems design firm serving the Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services sector. Our name reflects the way we work: the abacus for structure and calculation, the sage for judgment and foresight. We bring both to every engagement.
We are not a reseller pushing hardware, and we are not a software house that walks away after the handoff. We are engineers who stay. Our practice covers integrated systems design, network architecture, cloud migration, cybersecurity hardening, and the long term support that keeps every layer working together.
What we do
Every engagement starts with a plain language assessment, not a sales pitch. Here is the work we do and the order in which we typically deliver it.
We map your current infrastructure, model the state you need to reach, and design a systems architecture that balances performance, budget, and future growth. You get a blueprint you can actually read.
We unify disconnected tools, databases, and devices into one coordinated environment so your data flows without manual reentry and your people stop working around the technology.
Design and rollout of reliable networks, servers, and storage built for uptime. We handle capacity planning, redundancy, and monitoring so failures stay rare and recovery stays fast.
We move workloads to the cloud with a plan, not a panic. Migration roadmaps, cost controls, and day to day operations that keep your services fast and your bill predictable.
Hardening, access controls, monitoring, and incident response built around your real risk profile. We help you meet the standards your customers and regulators expect.
Systems are never finished. Our managed teams monitor, patch, and improve your environment so it keeps pace with your business instead of becoming a bottleneck.
How we work
We spend the first week understanding your workflows, constraints, and goals. No billable surprises, just a clear picture of the current state.
You receive a written architecture, a phased roadmap, and a fixed scope. We agree on outcomes before any build begins.
Our engineers deploy in stages with testing at each gate, keeping your business running while the new systems come online.
We document, train, and monitor. Then we stay, improving the environment as your needs change over the long term.
Who we serve
Common questions
Most engagements begin with an assessment within two weeks of our first conversation. Urgent stabilization work can often start sooner.
Yes. Our smallest clients are teams of five and our largest run hundreds of employees. The common thread is a need for systems that simply work.
We frequently inherit existing environments. We document what exists, stabilize what is urgent, and only then recommend changes with a clear business case.
Projects are quoted as fixed scope engagements, while ongoing support is billed on a transparent monthly basis. No hourly surprises and no hidden fees.
Always. Every deliverable includes written documentation your team can keep, and we train your staff so the systems are useful long after we finish.
